The visitors outclassed their opponents with a passing game but they were taught a harsh lesson that matches are not won by playing beautiful football but by scoring.
Rangers stunned the hosts when they opened the scoring in the 37th minute through a strike by Chazika.
The visitors won a free-kick in the Shabanie half after Simon Choenda fouled Bernard Bvumbwe and Masvingo referee, Makonese Masakadza, who had a good afternoon, awarded the visitors a free-kick.
And former Dynamos star Chazika released a screamer that shook the roof of the nets, beating the otherwise impressive goalkeeper Victor Twaliki.
The goal silenced Maglas except for the Blue Rangers management who celebrated the goal from the VIP arena.
That was before Nelson Mazivisa equalised for the hosts in the 51st minute.
“I dedicate the goal to the Chikuvanyanga family who lost their son my best friend Itai in a car accident in which six people perished along Mazoe road,” said a tearful Mazivisa after the match.
Crowd favourite, goalkeeper Victor Twaliki finished off the visitors when he converted from the spot.
