FOUNDER and managing director of Mothers of Special Heroes, Chantelle Shangare, has been invited to speak at an international conference on autism and neurodevelopmental disorders.

The two-day conference will be held at Julius Nyerere International Convention Centre in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, from December 2-3.

Shangare expressed her gratitude for the invitation and opportunity to share her experiences and knowledge at the conference.

She hopes to raise awareness about autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders, and to promote inclusion and understanding for people with disabilities in Zimbabwe and beyond.

She also looks forward to learning from other speakers and attendees and strengthening her organisation’s work through new partnerships and funding opportunities.
