A Harare man has applied for a peace order against his cousin, accusing her of, among other things, not flushing the toilet.
Phillip Muradza, a school teacher, told the Harare Civil Court that his sister, Performance Mazarura, was a nuisance.
“She is my cousin and I bought the house from her mother. “There is no toilet at her house and she uses mine, but doesn’t flush or clean it after use.
“Performance also accuses me of rape and claims I am HIV positive,” he said.
Performance disputed Phillip’s accusations, and said he was just a mere tenant looking after her mother’s house.
“He is lying. I never insult or harass or threaten to kill him and his family, but he is in the habit of standing by the toilet door when I am using the toilet.
“Phillip is the one who insults me, accusing me of abortion,” she said.
Magistrate Sharon Mashavira dismissed Pillip’s peace order bid due to lack of merit.
