AN Eastview man dragged his wife to court accusing her of disturbing his peace.

Augustine Mapuranga applied for a protection order against his wife, Selina Sachida, for physically abusing him.

He told the court Selina evicted him from their matrimonial home.

Presiding magistrate, Tamara Chibindi, granted the application to Augustine.

She ordered Selina not to prevent her husband from returning home, harass or intimidate him.

Augustine said: “Your Worship, she is my wife. She evicted me from our matrimonial home that we purchased together

“I recently found out that she has been secretly taking ARVs since 2013.

“Zvinondirwadza ndikazvifunga.

“She is saying the stand is hers, yet I am the one who paid CABS for it.

“She throws away my clothes whenever she gets irritated.”

In response, Chisada disputed the allegations. “I didn’t evict him, but he left on his own. Your Worship, I am not taking any pills, he is lying,” she said.
