‘She influenced my wife to deny me conjugal rights for a year’

A HARARE man claims a neighbour influenced his wife to deny him conjugal rights for an entire year.

Privilege Kapesi was responding to claims by Winnie Tauro that he has been using death threats to her.

Winnie is not only a neighbour but a good friend of Privilege’s wife.

“She influenced my wife to deny me conjugal rights for 12 months,” he said.

“I spoke to Winnie’s husband and he also said his wife had denied him conjugal rights for a year.”

However, Winnie was singing a different song.

“He came to my house and insulted me, threatening to kill me saying that I am responsible for the marital disputes between him and his wife, who is my friend,” she said.

Magistrate Sharon Mashavira granted Winnie the peace order and ordered Privilege to maintain peace or face arrest.
