SHEASHAM produced the biggest victory of the ZIFA Central Region Division One league after they won 11-0 against Bishopstone at Bata Stadium at the weekend.

The game saw a hat-trick from Ayanda Ncube, braces for Physwell Madhazi, Blessing Munana and a goal each for Ray Lunga, Khulekani Dube, Frederick Muza and Nixon Gama.

The result means the former Premisherhip side are now fourth on the table and four points behind leaders Tongogara, who have collected 28 points.

Sheasham, who have made it clear they want a quick return to top-flight football, also have Dulibadzimu United and Kwekwe United to contend with in the league.

Dulibadzimu and Kwekwe United are second and third on the table with 26 points.

Some of the players who joined Sheasham at the start of the season include Rahman Kutsanzira, Gama, Efinos Kamunda, Lucky Vundla, Lunga, David Madzungu, Dube, Terry Dzovani, Kim Sibanda, Brian Rusinga, Mncedisi Nyoni, Munana and Bright Chipedza.

Head coach Lizwe Sweswe has also been working on setting up development structures and teams in place.

Before the end of last year, the club made calls for young players to join their junior teams which will start from the age of 13-17.

These will in the future feed into the first team.

Sweswe oversees the recruitment of players for the junior teams.

Sheasham were relegated from the Premiership league last year alongside Cranborne Bullets, Black Rhinos and Triangle United while Chegutu Pirates, Tenax, Telone and Arenel Movers replaced them.
