LEGENDS, TOP ARTISTS FOR KINGDOM WORLD TOUR

AN array of top gospel acts has been included in the Kingdom World Tour set for Glamis Arena on August 12.

Iconic group Maverick City Music and Kirk Franklin are part of the bill.

Franklin, 54, is an American gospel singer who also doubles up as a record producer and rapper.

He has enjoyed a great career which has seen him win 20 Grammy awards.

He is dubbed the ‘King of Urban Gospel,’ in the world and one of the inaugural inductees into the Black Music & Entertainment Walk of Fame.

Organisers have included rising choral groups, The Unveiled, Joyful Praise, Tembalami and Takesure Zama.

“We are thrilled to have such a talented line-up of local artists joining Maverick City Music and Kirk Franklin for the Kingdom World Tour in Zimbabwe,” event director Pastor Lyncolin Kapswara. 

He said the impressive line-up will compliment their international guests.

“We are confident that these local acts are going to leave everything on the stage and deliver an unforgettable experience for our attendees.”

Advance tickets for the show are now available.

“We are offering various ticket packs for all ages to suit every fan. Early bird tickets will close on July 8,” he said.

Tickets are going for US$25, US$65 for VIP and US$100 for the meet-and-greet opportunity.
