HIP-HOP artist Shone has been described by some of his fans as an international superstar as he continues playing his role as a supporting act for British rock band Coldplay during their Music of the Spheres World tour.
The tour spilled into India on Saturday where the super group, which is considered the biggest band in the world today, will play five shows. Shone has played at the first two shows on Saturday and Sunday at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai.
He is set to make his third appearance of this Indian tour today before the show moves to Ahmedabad.
Shone’s performances have been praised. He said he is making waves in Mumbai and he is proud to be representing Zimbabwe on such a big stage.
After his performance on Sunday, the hip-hop star wrote on his Facebook page:
“MWARI WASHONE, Zimbabwe, we making waves in MUMBAI and lam so proud to always represent my nation.”
And, his fans, who follow him on social media, have also been praising him.
