Bulawayo songbird Noma Nkwali Gagisa is on a Tanzanian sojourn which is set to be capped by performances at that countrya��s Karibu Music Festival.
There she will be joined by South African Afro Soul star Siphokazi among a host of other African musicians.
Over the past few weeks, the golden voiced Nama award winning sensation has been stationed in Tanzania, with her stay in that country set to be concluded by a showing at the festival which runs from 4 to 6 November.
The songbirda��s solo career has been on an upwards trajectory since the release of her award winning debut album Sithokozile.
Karibu Music Festival is an annual international music festival created by Karibu Cultural Promotions Organization and Legendary Music Entertainment and Promotion Company Ltd.
This yeara��s edition will be held at Bagamoyo, on 500 acres grounds along the beach at the TASUBA College of Arts and Culture. The main attraction of the festival is the mixture of music, dance and cultural exposure, whereby various artistes from different parts of the world will be invited to share the stage with the local East African artistes.
The festival goal is nurturing and promoting African music and culture to the world, as well as introducing other countriesa�� cultures to Africa, and building up friendships, interests and collaboration opportunities among all participants.
The festival will focus on different genres of music basing on its influence and popularity, with genres on offer ranging from pop, rock, reggae, hip hop, jazz, to country and electronic and other forms of alternative music.
