‘Sithole, Ncube will add grit to Ajax’

AJAX Cape Town communications officer Mark Meyer is confident that the Zimbabwean duo of Simba Sithole and Milton Ncube will make a lot of difference at the club next season.
He said the club will be fighting for honours.
Meyer believes the two will add enough depth to the team to challenge for honours.

Former How Mine striker Sithole has been with the Urban Warriors for some months but is yet to adapt to the team’s type of play.
Meyer told Chronicle Sport: “I’m aware that Milton Ncube will be joining us towards the end of June. We expect him to do well given his good performance with the Warriors during the Chan tournament hosted by South Africa early this year.

“There isn’t much to say about the Zimbabwean except that he has signed a two-year contract with a one-year option for renewal.”
The Highlanders utility player will head to Cape Town in June to join his teammates for pre-season training.

If Ncube continues with his high work rate which he showed during Chan, bigger clubs could come knocking on his doors.
Ajax Amsterdam of Holland are the sister club to the South African side.

Other Zimbabwean players who played for Ajax are Norman Mapeza, Wilfred Mugeyi, Ian Gorowa, Edelbert Dinha, Tafadzwa Rusike, Khama Billiat and Francis Shonhayi.
