FORMER Highlanders midfield dynamo Sizabantu Khoza has retraced his footsteps to the black and white camp, B-Metro Sport can reveal.
Khoza, a former Zimbabwe youth international player who was part of the Bossoa��s trailblazing squad just after the turn of the new millennium, instead of taking top the field of play he joins the cluba��s technical team in the hot seated dugout.
He has been seconded to Bossoa��s Under-16 technical team where he will work with his former teammate and close friend Gift Lunga (Jnr) among other mentors.
a�?He (Khoza) applied to join us and we interviewed him. The club has agreed to take him and I have written a letter to him to let him know that he has made the grade. Ita��s all done. He is most welcome and we are happy to welcome him back,a�? said Highlanders chief executive officer Ndumiso Gumede.
He added: a�?Khoza is our former star performer and he brings with a very rich curriculum vitae. Actually he is over qualified.a�?
Last season, ex-Highlanders trio that included Khoza, towering Joel Luphahla and Danisa PhiriA� came out of retirement and joined then Premier Soccer League newboys Tsholotsho FC, a club they helped survive the dreaded chop courtesy of their vast experience in the field of play.
