CELEBRATED award-winning gospel sensation Sipho “Snowy” Ncube, said he was overwhelmed by the support he received from locals and fellow gospel musicians, including Minister Michael Mahendere and South Africa’s Dumi Mkokstad.

He described the support as a gratifying endorsement that made his dream a reality.

The two respected artistes headlined his Sizomkhonza Concert, which took place last Sunday at the Zimbabwe International Exhibition Centre.

The event, which attracted 2 000 people, was a testimony that a gospel market is always ready in Bulawayo, what is needed is the organising of spectacular events like Sizomkhonza Concert, which will give people value for their money.

Snowy said he was overwhelmed by the number of people who attended the event.

“I’m still trying to put into words the depth of my gratitude to Dumi and his incredible team, who travelled all the way from South Africa to bless us with their presence and talents at our concert.

“Dumi’s willingness to embark on such a long journey, is a testament to his commitment to sharing the Gospel through music and I’m forever grateful.

“His performance was truly breathtaking, and the way he ministered to our audience was nothing short of remarkable. He brought a level of excellence, passion and energy that was palpable throughout the entire event,” said Snowy.

Minister Michael Mahendere was also served with an appreciation letter, where Snowy expressed his deepest gratitude to the legendary singer for supporting him in realising his long-held dream.

“Minister Mahendere’s willingness to avail himself and share his talents with us was a tremendous blessing, and I’m still feeling the impact of his ministry. His music was a powerful tool that brought joy, encouragement and inspiration to our audience.

“As the Bible says, “Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. Mahendere’s willingness to share with us his time, talent and resources reflected his cheerful heart and I’m honoured to have been a recipient of his generosity,” said Snowy.

As he has already set the ball rolling, Snowy revealed that he is now focusing on his next assignment as he is among gospel artistes who will be headlining the Grateful Experience event slated for 31 May, in the United Kingdom.
