CANADA-based events management guru and radio presenter, Slice T, has blessed his two sons Mike and Malcom’s new journey as music promoters.
The two, who have since formed a new entertainment stable called Biggz Entertainment, begin their trial with Jah Prayzah’s invitation this month.
The 3rd Generation boss is set to headline the Afro Festival in Toronto and Edmonton, on the weekend of July 16, courtesy of Biggz Entertainment.
Jah Prazah, who turned 35 on July 4, will also celebrate his belated birthday with overseas fans during the festival.
Speaking to H-Metro from his North American base, Slice T, who has rebranded to Dad Slice, confirmed he had blessed his two sons.
“Afro fest, Acaso and Biggz Entertainment presents Jah Prayzah live, on July 16 2022 at Union Hall by public demand.
“He will perform at the Afro fest in Toronto and Edmonton.
“The show in Edmonton is being powered by the new look of vibrant young promoters named Biggz Entertainment i.e Mike and Malcolm Viriri, after Show being handed over by the Dad Slice,” said the former Slice International Band member.
Dad Slice said his sons will not rest on their laurels after the Jah Prayzah show.
“Next on the cards for the boys is Killer T, we hope to bring more artists from Africa and take over from where our dad left.
“Nutty O, Enzo are in our plans as we host ZimFest for the first time in Canada, hopefully, at the end of year,” wrote the two sons in a statement.
Mike and Malcom, who are both musicians, have been learning the ropes from their father.
Dad Slice has promoted the majority of Zimbabwe’s showbiz giants, including the late national hero, Oliver “Tuku” Mtukudzi.
He has also promoted South African and Zimbabwean artists who are resident in Diaspora.
