POPULAR Tswana songstress and dance queen, Naledi “Slizer” Kaisara and Peter “Young Igwe” Moyo are set to share the stage in what is promising to be a thrilling show tomorrow night. In an interview, the organiser of the show, Tafadzwa Maridadi of Maridadi Entertainment said fans should expect a show dominated by good dance routines from the two musicians.

“This will be a great show and fans should come in their numbers to see and hear Mushonga Mukuru for the first time in Bulawayo.
The two are well-known dancers and for all those who want to see good dance routines, Manor Hotel will be the place to be on Friday (tomorrow) night,” he said.

Peter Moyo released his maiden album Mushonga Mukuru in July and the album has proved his doubters wrong.
He has managed to keep his group intact and will be performing for his fans for the first time in Bulawayo after a year long absence.
“We have a lot of new things to show our Bulawayo fans. I know a number of fans have been asking when we will be coming to perform for them and Maridadi Entertainment has made it possible now.

“We will give our best at the show, we mean business and this will be a memorable show for many,” he said.
Peter knows he has to be at his best to match the antics of Slizer.

The Tswana diva is no stranger to Zimbabwe’s entertainment scene having been to the country several times and staging shows with a number of artistes among them sungura maestro, Alick   Macheso.

One thing that cannot be taken away from Slizer is her stage presence and her ability to gyrate in an amazing and enthralling way. Blessed with both beauty and a flexible body, she leaves nothing to the imagination, as she sways to the fast pace of her music.
“Slizer is an energy goddess on stage who has earned a deserving reputation as a star performer. Fans love her and she is in the best shape to deliver another of her good performances,” said Maridadi.

She is doing well on the local charts with her song Makau bankintsa ba rhee which is receiving rotation in nightclubs, parties and other social gatherings.

That is a clear indication of the diva’s popularity in Zimbabwe, where she has become a household name from the time her music invaded the local entertainment scene a few years back.

In the song, Slizer pays tribute to her fans in the country, for capping her queen of dance, a message she lyrically emphasises and complements with high energetic dances.
Her lyrics say “Zimbabwe yanditi ndiri musikana wekutamba, Zimbabwe yanditi ndiri queen veSele mama.”
