MUTARE Pool League outfit Soul City Pool Club’s star player Godknows ‘Sir Gode’ Masona gave a fine account of the standard of the game in the eastern border city after reaching the final of the annual Black Label National Pool tournament in Bulawayo last night.

Masona’s outstanding run saw him eliminate highly rated opponents, including Eshca ‘Zim 1’ Chimbwanda in a semi-final encounter that the Chikanga-based player convincingly won 5-0.

However, Masona, who won the same tournament in 2024, was outplayed by eventual winner Stephen ‘Vardy’ Paswani in the final.

Fellow Soul City Pool Club player Talent Pandukai and Navtech Pool Club’s Allan Changadzo were the other Manicaland players who featured in the 2026 edition of the Black Label National Pool tournament finals.
