Social darts teams to battle it out for cow

SIXTEEN teams will battle it out in the Ingwebu Breweries Matabeleland South Social Darts challenge slated for October 21 at Old MaNkomo Beer Garden in Gwanda.

Matabeleland South social darts vice-chairman Ben Mashati said preparations for this year’s challenge are well on course.

“It is all systems go, we are ready to play host to the challenge. We expect a very tough competition. We have teams coming from Bulawayo that should make the tournament even more exciting.

“The teams will battle it out for the top prize of a cow and exciting prizes for all participating teams.

“The draw and tournament launch will be held on the 19th of October at a date and venue to be                                                                                                  advised. The affiliation fee for all teams has been pegged at $40 and is due on the 18th of October,” said Mashati.

Sponsors, Ingwebu Breweries and the Matabeleland South Social Darts Association are working on having the challenge as an annual event.
