TODAY marks the official inauguration of Professor Khumbulani Mpofu as the Vice Chancellor of Solusi University.
Professor Mpofu succeeded Professor Ephraim Gwebu, who resigned from the position last year. Having taken office in early 2024, Professor Mpofu has already outlined a bold vision for the future of the university, focusing on revitalising, recapitalising, and rebuilding Solusi University to meet the demands of modern education.
The event, attended by notable guests and academic figures who are already present for the ongoing Education Regional Summit, also features the presence of the Minister of Higher and Tertiary Education, Frederick Shava, who is expected to deliver a keynote speech.
