Son barred from evicting mum

A WOMAN from Glen Norah A says her son has been trying to evict her from her house.

Emily Nduna now wants a protection order against her son, Saymore Nduna.

“I want him to be barred from my house in Glen Norah A. He assaults me all the time and, at one point, he followed me to my rural home and tore my night dress. He wants to chase me from the house saying I should leave his father’s house because he died a long time ago,” said Emily.

Saymore did not oppose the application. “I apologise, it was due to drunkenness, I beg the court for forgiveness and I have now stopped drinking,” said Saymore.

Magistrate Sharon Mashavira granted the protection order to Emily.
