KUWADZANA Extension-based chanter, Blessing “Baba Beeby” Nyikadzino, has dropped a 14 singles’ collection.
The Soul Jah Love protégé says the music will be ready for public consumption next week and promised to continue keeping the late chanter’s legacy.
“This is my first singles collection which was produced by DTK Records and once again it’s taking Jah Love’s legacy to another level. I engaged three popular artists, namely Hwinza, Dobba Don and Silent Killer.
“I will continue with Jah Love’s legacy and my dream is to take it to another level.
“My songs talk about the meanings of life and what I have come across. It’s also a narration of what I have gone through.
“I featured Hwinza on the song Baba Beeby, Hupenyu Hwangu, Hakuna and another song featuring Dobba Don.”
The 22-year-old’s first song, Ndovaimbira, made him popular while the second one Chenesai Ndzira Dzedu propelled him to a new level.
Baba Beeby started singing in February 2021, following the death of Jah Love.
“It pained me so much when I heard that Jah Love had died to a point I felt the King’s legacy needed to be defended.
“I grew up in a very tough way and I want to express my pain in his music.
“I feel imitating Soul Jah Love will make the fans hear him out and pay attention towards me quicker.“I kept on listening to his music, making me also want to share my own painful stories,” he said.
