Each year in the months of March and September many Zimbabwean students will be departing to study at universities in China, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Japan, India and (Cyprus). SOZS CTC Consultancy has facilitated the placement of more than 1 200 Zimbabwean students studying and staying at different universities across Asia with China being the biggest destination.

There are many and varied courses that students can choose from, including medicine, engineering, economics, natural sciences, aviation, law, philosophy, humanities, art and architecture. For students taking classes not fully taught in English they should attend a one year Mandarin (Chinese Language Course) and pass at least HSK Level 4 before proceeding to their chosen degree programme.
There are two intakes per year — March and September, and the number of students opting to study abroad increases every year. SOZS CTC Consultancy not only assists with student admissions and registrations, but also helps with visa applications, permits, mandatory health checks, flights, airport transfers and accommodation.
Undergraduate and Postgraduate Degree Programmes
The programmes are open to students aged between 18 and 35 and for post grad all that is needed is a bachelor and master degree transcript and a research proposal of about a 1000 words.
Scholarships are partial and cover tuition fees varying from 40 percent to 100 percent of tuition fees only. To qualify for undergraduate scholarships one should have at least a minimum of 13 points at A-Level and at least 4 A’s at O- Level. Then for post grad students one should have at least 2:1 aggregate degree class and good academic record. Those with O-Levels only or who did not come out well at A- Level can enrol of a one year pre-university bridging program before proceeding to study for any degree programme.
Tuition fees for most degrees like sciences, engineering, management, arts, social studies, humanities range between US$3 500 to US$5 500 per year including accommodation. These are mainly for degree subjects taught in English. Fees for the pre university foundation course range between US$2 300 to US$3 500 per year including accommodation. For those wanting to study medicine which is a six year programme, fees range between US$6 000 and US$12 500, including accommodation.
