SPAR launches Fantastic Festive Promotion

Business Correspondent
SPAR Mutare last Saturday officially launched the Fantastic Festive Promotion which will see winners walk away with various prizes on a weekly basis.

The promotion runs up to January 9, 2015.

Customers who buy any three of participating products will be eligible to enter the grand promotion which will see three lucky winners winning a car each on January 10 next year.

In an interview, the supermarket’s procurement manager, Mr Rutendo Makunike, said three vehicles — two Toyota Vitz and a Honda Fit — would be up for grabs.

“We are urging our customers to come and shop at Mutare Spar and walk away with lots of prizes. They should just buy any three of the participating products and get a chance to win prizes such as 32-inch plasma television sets, cellphones and gift vouchers, among other prizes. A customer should simply buy three different products and put their names, identity number and contact address behind their receipt and cast them in a box provided in the supermarket. The promotion is a gift and an appreciation to our customers who stood by us through thick and thin. We want to appreciate them for supporting us all year round,” Makunike said.

He thanked the supermarket’s suppliers for partnering them and making previous promotions successful.

“These promotions could not have been successful without our suppliers. They also supported us on our launch and we are very grateful,” he said.

A total of 40 suppliers attended the launch which took place at the supermarket’s spacious car park. The fun-filled event ran for the whole day after a march in the CBD.
