LEADING retail shop, Spar Mutare, last Saturday officially launched the Hoza Summer Promotion which will see customers walk away with various prizes among them a Hyundai Tucson vehicle.
It was a hive of activity in the Central Business District as tens of customers and suppliers mixed and mingled in song and dance as they marketed their products.
The launch started off with a march from downtown before the fun continued at the supermarket’s car park.
Local upcoming musicians led by urban groover, Charlie Nyz entertained people with well choreographed acts.
More than ten people walked away with prizes that included shopping vouchers worth $25 after they outshone each other on the dance floor and trolley race. The promotion will run from October 16 to December 6.
In an interview, the supermarket’s general manager, Mr Tungamirai Hove, said over 150 winners would walk away with various prizes every two weeks.
“We urge our valued customers to be part of the grand promotion. Customers just need to spend $5 or more by buying any participating products from, for instance, Natfoods and or Lyons or buy participating AMH or Zimpapers newspapers and stand a chance to win a brand new Hyundai Tucson. Other prizes which are up for grabs are Generators, LED flat screen televisions, solar lamps and stoves among other things.
“This is part of our community responsibility programmes as we appreciate our valued customers for shopping with us and having faith with us. We will continue to offer excellent services and honour them for their loyalty,” said Mr Hove.
