Steward Bank gets new CEO

Steward Bank has appointed Courage Mashavave as the new chief executive officer with effect from February 10, 2020. Mashavave takes over from the acting CEO, Krison Chirairo.

According to Steward Bank Mashavave is an accomplished financial services practitioner, who has been in the industry for over 15 years.

He has assumed various positions in retail, corporate and investment banking.

Thus, “he brings a wealth of experience in corporate and structure finance, treasury and portfolio management, private banking and managing impact investment funds”, the bank said.

Steward Bank’s board chairman, Bernard Thomas Rugare Chidzero, congratulated Mashavave, saying the board has full confidence in him and his ability to “lead the bank to a greater success”.
