BLACK Rhinos coach, Stanford ‘Stix’ Mutizwa, says they want to try and win the Chibuku Super Cup.
They have a date against Chicken Inn in the quarter-finals at Vengere on Sunday.
The Gamecocks have been struggling for results at Vengere until their 1-0 win over Manica Diamonds on Tuesday.
Joey Antipas and his men will be hoping to build on the win to propel themselves to the next round of the Chibuku Super Cup.
Rhinos will be boosted by their last-minute goal, which enabled them to steal a point, against Dynamos in the league, on Sunday.
It showed their great fighting spirit and these are the qualities Chipembere have been showing since Stix took over as coach.
Rhinos have been instrumental in shaping the league table, after collecting crucial points, against the top teams.
They held both FC Platinum and DeMbare to draws in their recent league matches.
But, going into this encounter, Chipembere have a chance of determining their fate and qualifying for the semi-finals of the premier knockout tournament.
Rhinos lost the first encounter 2-1 in Bulawayo.
They got their revenge against the Gamecocks by winning at home, by a similar scoreline.
Mutizwa said they will not look into history as this is a winner-take-all cup game.
“You can’t necessarily look at how many games your opponents have lost, or won, going into this game.
“It’s a Cup game and circumstances will always change. It’s a match that has to be decided on the pitch.
“It’s good we are playing at home and we will try to use home advantage to qualify for the next round.
“We are actually ready and prepared for battle.
“Our target is to proceed to the next round and start working going forward from there,” he said.
