Street Set, Sigola clash

STREET Set will take on Sigola Queens in a Bulawayo Division One Women’s Soccer match at Montrose High School today.
Lee Mangena’s Street Set will be playing their second game of the season after resolving their players dispute with Cowdray Park.

They lost their first competitive match to ZRP Bulawayo 3-0 and will be seeking to get their campaign back on track when they play Sigola.

Mangena however said they were still building their team. “We lost most of our best players but we hope to win against Sigola,” said Mangena.

He said they had to rely on fringe players to complete the season. “We are forced to throw our young players into the deep end because we lost most of our top players,” he said.

Sigola Queens who are anchoring the log standing will seek to pick up points against Street Set youngsters.

Cowdray Park were set to travel to the mining town of Hwange but lack of funds forced the cancellation of the match.
Team director Nkosilathi Hove said they were told late that they had an away fixture to Hwange.
