BAD boy rapper Stunner has never been one to stay long without hogging the headlines for the wrong reasons.
His stay in the limelight has been as much dependent on his music. Now itas on his antics outside the recording booth, where his misadventures have made for ample pub talk.
The wordsmith was back again this week, this time after he was sentenced on Tuesday to perform 210 hours of community service for negligent driving.
However, while he was let off the hook because it was the first time he had been convicted of such a crime, this was only because this was the only time the rapperas episodes behind the wheel were reported.
According to local showbiz website, Zimbo Jam, the rapper has been involved in at least three such incidents in the past few years, all while he has been driving without a licence.
In his latest bit of vehicular infamy, the rapper was driving a sporty maroon Lexus Sedan when he smashed into four stationary vehicles and knocked down a pedestrian.
Stunner alleged that he wasnat speeding but had lost control when his front tyre burst but eyewitnesses reportedly said that the maverick rapper was pulling wild spins at the intersection when he lost control of the car.
Back in May 2010 Stunner rammed into a commuter omnibus just after the Rusape toll gate on his way from a performance in Nyanga. The driver of the commuter omnibus, who was badly injured in the crash, was making a U-turn on the highway when Stunner rammed into him.
The rapper was in the company of fellow artistes Shastro, Junior Brown, Mc Chita and DJ Nature all who escaped with minor bruises.
In December 2014 Stunner was involved in another accident along Enterprise Road in Harare where Tally B, a fellow artiste who was with him in his vehicle sustained minor injuries.
