adminwere suing President Mugabe and Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai over appointment of eight Cabinet ministers.
Judge President Jusice George Chiweshe said the appointments were in accordance with the law.
Justice Chiweshe will in due course give his full judgement in the case in which Mr Moven Kufa and the Voice of Democracy Trust were contesting the appointments of five Zanu-PF and three MDC-T ministers.
Advocate Lewis Uriri, instructed by the Civil Division of the Attorney-General’s Office represented President Mugabe and Prime Minister Tsvangirai.
He said: “The effect of the dismissal is that the President in consultation with the Prime Minister did not violate the constitution as had been alleged.”
Mr Kufa and VDT had claimed that the appointments of ministers Saviour Kasukuwere, Joseph Made, Walter Mzembi, Flora Bhuka, Sylvester Nguni (Zanu-PF), and Henry Madzorera, Sekai Holland and Giles Mutsekwa (MDC-T) breached Zimbabwe’s constitution.
Mr Kufa and the civic organisation wanted the court to nullify the appointments saying Schedule 8 of the Constitution allows only 31 ministers (15 Zanu-PF, 13 MDC-T and three MDC).
The parties appointed 21 from Zanu-PF, 16 from MDC-T and four from MDC.
