Sulu, Peter unite for Midlands tour

Dendera icon Suluman Chimbetu and sungura star Peter Moyo are set to meet their fans in Midlands Province as they will be touring the province together this weekend.

The pair will perform in Shurugwi tonight and Kwekwe on Saturday, before leaving for a family show in Norton.

Sulu, through his publicist Joe Nyamungoma, said it is good when artistes join forces for numerous shows.

“We are happy to be sharing the stage with Peter in his home area. It shows there is unity among artistes. We are one and we will always work together,” he said.

He also said the band is ready and promised explosive shows in Midlands as they support the Moyo in his home town.

“We are always in our best form whenever we perform, so we are just urging our Midlands fans to turn up in numbers during these performance,” he said.

On the other hand, the Young Igwe, as Moyo is fondly known in the entertainment circles hailed Suluman for his professionalism when ever they have joint shows.

“We have been sharing stage with Sulu, he is so professional and all our shows with him have been successful. We are happy and as Utakataka Express, we are promising our best during these shows,” he said.
