MAMELODI Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane is looking forward to a must-win game against their tough opponents Kaizer Chiefs in the Absa Premier Soccer League at FNB Stadium, Johannesburg on Saturday.Mosimane was happy after their 2-1 win against city rivals Pretoria University at Loftus Stadium in Pretoria on Sunday afternoon.
Mosimane described the encounter as one of the toughest played by his team at home.
The former Bafana Bafana coach said the Warriors winger Khama Billiat is still out injured but training well.
“To my surprise he came early in the morning before our game with AmaTuks and told me that he is not feeling any pains and is ready to play.”
Mosimane told Chronicle Sport: “Definitely we need Billiat in our crucial game against Chiefs but he will have to fight for his position as at the moment. Lebohang Mokoena is doing well, otherwise he has to start the game on the bench.”
Cuthbert Malajila was introduced for Anthony Laffor in the last minute of the game.
Mosimane praised the former AmaZulu midfielder Esrom Nyandoro and described him as the pillar of strength in the star-studded Sundowns.
He said he might use him in the Chiefs game if their reliable midfielder Hlompho Kekana is not available due to suspension.
