SUNSHINE CITY CALLING. . . OUR CITY, OUR CAPITAL, OUR PRIDE

IT was yet another busy week for the men and women who are running Harare and ensuring that it retains its status as the Sunshine City.

WEDNESDAY

His Worship the Mayor Cllr Jacob Mafume spoke during the presentation of the draft Harare Master Plan which he said will shape developments in the capital. City of Harare Councillors are among the scores who attended the presentation of the draft Harare Master Plan in Harare. Hos Worship the Mayor, Cllr Jacob Mafume, also expressed support for the implementation of prepaid water meters in Harare, citing their potential to enhance service delivery. The City of Harare is working on installing the meters, which are expected to promote efficient water use and improve the council’s revenue collection.

THURSDAY

City of Harare employees were in high spirits as they worked on road markings along Herbert Chitepo Avenue in Harare.

FRIDAY

The City of Harare, in collaboration with different stakeholders, hosted a sports marketing symposium under the theme ‘Marketing The Games In The Digital Age’ creating strategies for Sports promotion, trends, opportunities and challenges in Harare.
