ZIMBABWE’S Scott Vincent made his move at the 2016 Golden Pilsener Zimbabwe Open at Royal Harare when he shot a five-under par to trail leader Louis De Jager by four shots.

De Jager leads the field by two shots at the halfway mark.

Vaughn Groenewald, who is on seven-under after a second round comeback, is in second place.

First round leader Mark Murless is tied on sixth place with Lyle Rowe. Vincent said he wanted to make another big move today.

“I did play well today as I managed to maintain my composure and I am now hoping to do the same tomorrow (today),” he said.

“I managed some good shots, hitting the greens several times and only missing it once and this gave me the edge and so I am now looking forward to another good outing.

“Playing with seasoned players gave me confidence and I am going to learn and try and improve myself.”

Mark Williams was also in the mix as he was tied with Vincent.

Marc Cayeux, whose story has captivated everyone after his recovery from a horrific car accident, also made the cut.

David Amm will win the top amateur golfer after making the cut after yesterday’s second round.

A total seven amateurs, including defending champion Stuart Krog, failed to make it in one of the highest cut scores at Royal since the Zimbabwe Open returned as it stood out at four over.
