GIANT sports broadcaster SuperSport will this weekend beam live all three Castle Lager Premier Soccer League matches being staged in Bulawayo, beginning with the Chicken Inn and Triangle match at Luveve Stadium on Friday.
According to the fixtures’ programme released by the PSL yesterday, SuperSport will also beam the potentially explosive encounter between a bruised How Mine and leaders Caps United, who are enjoying a new lease of life under coach Lloyd Chitembwe. The match is also set for Luveve Stadium.
On Sunday, viewers will get to watch the clash between Bulawayo City and Gweru side Chapungu, who will be eager to pick up maximum points after going for 180 minutes without a goal.
Bulawayo City will naturally be buoyed by their 1-0 derby win over champions Chicken Inn on Saturday.
All three Bulawayo matches look set to give fans value for their money.
The biggest shock result of the past weekend was at Sakubva Stadium where minnows and debutants Mutare City Rovers chalked a 1-0 win over How Mine.
That loss might be a timely motivating factor the gold miners need to hand Makepekepe their first defeat of the season, although that could prove to be a tall order if present form is considered.
Caps United players refused to go to Luveve Stadium for their game against How Mine last year after going on strike over non-payment of their dues, despite travelling from Harare to Bulawayo.
How Mine were awarded the match and points on a 3-0 score line and this weekend’s game promises to be an explosive encounter.
