Cairo, the Syrian delegation headed by George Sabra “discussed with the AL the latest situation in Syria and bombing the city of Aleppo by the Scud ballistic missiles,” Sabra said in a press statement, urging the AL to intervene in to press the Syrian government to stop bombing Aleppo with the scud missiles. Describing the talks with al-Arabi were “fruitful,” Sabra said that al-Arabi pledged that AL would play a vital role to protect the Syrian lives and it would provide the Syrian people with the humanitarian support.
“The AL can play a vital role by practicing pressure on the Syrian regime and by pushing the Arab countries to do the same,” said Sabra.
Sabra added that al-Arabi briefed the delegation the results of the Arab ministerial delegation’s recent visit to Moscow. – Xinhua.
