ZIFA Southern Region Division One joint table toppers Talen Vision will on Sunday engage in a potentially bruising encounter against equally buoyant Adachi FC.
After edging Indlovu Iyanyathela in their week four fixture, Talen Vision sit on the apex of the log standings tied on 10 points with fellow seasoned campaigners ZPC Hwange who in their previous encounter beat CIWU 2-1 in a match that was played in Bulawayo.
Under the guidance of former Chicken Inn, Harare City and Bulawayo City gaffer Philani “Beefy” Ncube, Adachi FC are in high spirits after they beat Victoria Falls-based Mosi Rovers 3-2.
Adachi boasts of a strong technical team that also has legendary former Highlanders goalkeeper Peter “Oxo’ Nkomo and celebrated ex Warriors and Bosso midfield maestro Johannes “Tshisa” Ngodzo.
The ambitious club has former Premier Soccer League players that include Nathaniel Moyo, Welcome “Waroowa” Ndiweni, Chrispen Ncube and dreadlocked Ocient “Skilloh” Ncube among others.
Last weekend, Moyo, who is on loan from Chicken Inn, scored a hattrick for Adachi FC.
ZPC Hwange, who were last season’s first runners up, will entertain Mpopoma based Ajax Hotspurs while Mosi Rovers do battle against Jordan Sinnott at Chinotimba Stadium.
Arenel Movers will fight it out against Plumtree based Manline while ex-Premier Soccer League outfit Zimbabwe Saints meet Mountain Climbers at Saints Sports Club.
Ratanang will face off with Makhandeni Pirates at Luveve B Arena.
Binga Pirates will square it off against Casmyn at a venue which is yet to be announced.
