Teen wins car in Heads and Hooves promotion

A LUCKY 17-year-old teenager drove away in a Honda Fit after winning the Heads and Hooves Butchery’s “win a car Christmas promotion” draw in Bulawayo on Monday.

The promotion, which was running for the second year, began on December 1, 2014 and ended December 31.

Sithabile Ndlovu from Hillside suburb won the car while Rasheli Tshuma, 46, from Gwabalanda won a Toyota Vitz in the same draw.

Handing over the vehicles to the winners at the company’s Hebert Chitepo branch, Heads and Hooves sales representative Nyasha Chikuya Muringa said it was an honour to give back to their customers.

“We’d like to appreciate our customers for their valued support. We’ve four branches in Bulawayo and all our customers were open to participate in the draw.

“For those who didn’t win cars we gave out food hampers. Our main goal is to say thank you to our customers who have supported us so much,” she said.

The winners could not hide their joy.

“I’m very happy to have won this car. I don’t know how to drive but I will start driving lessons now that I’ve a car,” said the visibly elated Ndlovu.

Tshuma urged members of the public to take advantage of promotions offered by different businesses to win themselves prizes.

“Customers must participate in draws held in the different retail shops, butcheries or outlets, you never know, you might be the lucky winner,” said the excited Tshuma.
