A BULAWAYO woman broke down in the Chronicle newsroom as she narrated how her son, 15, went missing two weeks ago. A tearful Molly Masiye of Mahatshula North could only say, “Come back my son and go to school. We care about your life and we love you.” She said Wilford Makhawa, a Form Two pupil at Milton Boys High went to school and never returned.
“He was putting on his uniform when he left home around 7.45AM, going to school. But he never came back,” said Masiye on Monday. “We only learnt later that he was seen with Mkhululi Marabha Ncube who is our neighbour.”
She said she had suspected that Wilford could have gone to her rural home in Nyamandlovu but could not find him when she went there at the weekend.
“I came from our home yesterday (Sunday) and he is not there. We have since made a report to the police,” she said.
