A STREET preacher, Evangelist Trymore Muparinga, who is prominent on social media, who is under attack from critics who claim he loves his beer and his mistress, says it’s all the work of his enemies.

The man of cloth made his name from preaching along the First Street Mall in Harare.

He has become a prominent and respected preacher, especially on social media.

He has had some serious personal problems, including a nasty separation with his wife.

His critics are feasting on that, questioning his claim that he is a religious man and accusing him of flirting with a mistress and finding comfort in his beer.

A number of posts have been circulating on social media attacking him.

Last night, Evangelist Muparinga spoke to H-Metro and defended himself.

“My enemies have been posting negative things about me.

“As for my marriage, I separated with my wife sometime last year.”

Evangelist Muparinga’s powerful sermons have taken him to various church denominations.

His inter-denominational approach opened a door for him to take his messages across pentecostal, white garment and mainstream churches.

Now, he finds himself in the eye of a storm on social media, the very platforms where he has boosted his appeal.
