THE third and final school term of the year is here.
After a restful holiday, which was filled with fun and a bit of learning, the final push begins.
This is a crucial term, especially for learners sitting their final examinations at the Grade Seven, Form Four and Upper Six levels.
It is a life-defining moment.
I am sure most of you are now well-prepared.
Many of you used the holiday for extra lessons, catching up on the syllabus or working on areas where you felt you were lacking.
My advice to all exam candidates is simple: Do not panic.
Exams are not designed to punish you; they are a platform for you to demonstrate what you have learnt and understood from your esteemed teachers.
As the new term begins, remember that the battle for your education has reached the home stretch.
Exams will start soon, but it is never too late to catch up if you feel you have some areas that need improvement.
Make use of your colleagues, the reliable ones; as well as your teachers; and parents or guardians.
They can provide important study
tips.
Participate in discussions and other school activities with an open mind.
It is never too late to make a difference. It is not yet over until it is over!
A positive mindset always enables you to achieve good results.
This is it. Let us go for it!
Remember, the future is in our hands.
The decisions we make today will shape our tomorrow.
All the best in this final term.
