Sunday Sermon with Apostle Chisale
GREETINGS beloved nation, in the name of Jesus Christ. Last week, we discussed how the year has a gate or doors and emphasised that the year is seized in the spirit rather than the physical realm. My prayer is that we align ourselves with what God is doing in this season of 2025.
Today, we will unveil key principles for unlocking the year, both individually and corporately, as we enter this new year. Jesus said in Matthew 16:19, “And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of Heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.”
The Kingdom of God possesses keys; thus, keys are vital for locking and unlocking doors or gates. In life, we are continually surrounded by these doors and gates, making it essential for us to possess the right keys. Notably, Jesus referred to keys (plural) rather than a single key, indicating that there are multiple doors; some are locked while others are open. A year can be locked for you, presenting a danger that prevents you from partaking in the blessings it offers.
To navigate the year successfully, we must learn how to use these spiritual keys for activation and promotion—whether it is regarding employment, ministerial growth, or marital breakthroughs. If you remain unaware of how to activate these keys, your year may become miserable.
However, I want to encourage you that the year 2025, regardless of the enemy’s schemes against God’s people, is a year crowned with goodness, as stated in Psalms 65:11.
To ensure the year 2025 co-operates with you, it’s essential to understand how to use the keys.
Key Number 1: Forget about the past
When entering a new season, it is crucial to deliberately forget about past burdens and celebrations. The past can distract us from the blessings of the present and future. Make a conscious decision to let go of past experiences, especially if they involve pain or trauma. Many have faced mental, emotional, or financial hardships in 2024, but I bring you good news: 2025 is filled with new opportunities that can propel you toward a brighter future, loaded with Godly benefits. For those who tasted the goodness of 2024, brace yourself for what God is prepared to do for you in 2025! Isaiah 43:18-19 reminds us, “Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it?”
Just as the Apostle Paul chose to forget his past as Saul the murderer upon encountering Jesus Christ, you too must release the past to experience the new things God has in store for you. If you cling to past grievances or achievements, they may hinder the new blessings trying to surface. Therefore, I urge you: pray that Jesus will sever any chains linking you to your past and grant you purpose for 2025.
Key Number 2: Seize the year in the spirit
Remember, we enter the year in the spirit. Learn to program and deprogram your year within the spiritual realm. Life operates on two foundations: the spiritual and the physical. The physical realm arises from the spiritual foundation. Those who master the art of programming and deprogramming in the spiritual realm will reap miraculous benefits in 2025. This year, immerse yourself in prayer, fasting and Bible study, for the enemy seeks to hinder your progress.
Demonic entities actively aim to sabotage the destinies of God’s people. As you celebrate the arrival of 2025, remember that the enemy is also at work trying to manipulate the atmosphere to birth calamities. Therefore, I challenge you to rise early and command the year to favour you in Jesus’ name. Like the children of Israel, who were delivered during their new season through miraculous signs, we have an opportunity for breakthroughs in 2025. Speak to the atmosphere and declare, “2025, I reclaim you from the hands of the enemy; you will not be manipulated!”
How to seize your year
Seizing your year involves two actions: programming and deprogramming the Heavens. God has written a book concerning your life, mapping out every detail as stated in Psalms 40:7. The enemy also possesses a book, and both seek expression in your life. As you pray, cancel any demonic writings against you using the blood of Jesus and activate God’s plan for your life. In Job 31:35, Job says, “My adversary has written a book.” Declare today, “Any book the enemy has authored concerning me and my destiny is cancelled by the blood of Jesus! I activate the divine blueprint crafted by God for my life. May His purposes be fulfilled in 2025!”
Lastly, I invite you to receive Jesus as your personal Lord and Saviour. Believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that He is Lord, and you shall be saved. May God bless you all. Amen.
