when the presence of God is felt more than others.
For example places where the communion of saints abide, genuine worship sets the atmosphere for the supernatural power of God to be experienced.
In places where the presence of God is palpable, miracles, signs and wonders are commonplace. The presence of God can be so powerful and real that one can literally cut the anointing with a knife.
In his sermon, The glory of God, Prophet Makandiwa described the glory of God as the character and the power of God that can be measured in weight. From the bible’s Exodus 33:18, Moses said to God “show me your glory,” why would Moses want the glory of God yet he was a prophet who walked with God in his daily life?
Kabwod is a Hebrew word which describes the glory of God being measured in kilogrammes, the weight of glory. Moses knew that even God knew him by name, it was not enough to travel all the way into the Promised Land without this kabwod.
Without the glory of God, all humanity’s endeavours in life are futile. Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa is one of the anointed servants of God who understands the power of God and how one can suck the anointing generated by the glory of God.
The presence of God generates the anointing that gives power to become, power to make things happen. I have observed with gratification in United Family International Church (UFIC) the miracles wrought through the hands of the servant of God — Prophet Makandiwa when the glory cloud appears in our ministry gatherings. It’s like physical rain falling on physical bodies. I have observed men and women Prophet Makandiwa ministers to whose lives and destinies have changed because of an impartation of special abilities to make it in life. Without divine empowerment, many God given assignments remain deferred dreams.
The glory of God can cause one to do things that human qualifications cannot achieve. God’s heartbeat is to inhabit the presence of His people.
In Exodus 25:8, God ordered Moses to command the children of Israel to make Him a sanctuary so that he could dwell there. The glory of God is God incarnate. God in His infinite wisdom knew that if humanity stays away from His presence, then another negative force the devil will make humanity’s life miserable.
God’s singular purpose was for humanity to live in His presence for their succour and spiritual sustenance.
Just like Saul the son of Kish, Samson the son of Manoah and a judge of Israel, when the glory of God came on them, they became other men.
They became a mysterious wonder. Saul began to prophesy. When the glory of God comes upon a man or woman, it is practically possible for them to become tourist attractions, just like Solomon, the son of David, whom Queen of Sheba paid a visit, just to see for herself the splendour of God that was upon Solomon’s life.
Demonstrably, a man with the glory of God knows no lack, knows no sickness, and knows no defeat! When God trusts an individual with His glory, He causes mysterious and supernatural happenings to take place around such people. Israel did not understand Moses the servant of God because of the glorious presence of God in his life and ministry. From the burning bush experience, Moses staff changed into a snake and even swallowed the Egyptian magicians’ snakes. From Mt Sinai, Moses’ face was radiant with the glory of God.
In Exodus 8 we read about the ten plagues the Egyptians experienced that they were all wrought out of the hands of Moses when the glory of God was upon him. Besides this, Moses, because of kabwod on his life, caused manna to come down from heaven, quails of meat to come out of the sea, and even water to come out of the rock.
To show how important the glory of God is, let us look at the children of Israel and their existence and survival in the wilderness. Because of the glory of God on Moses, the Israelites got provisions and protection from their enemies.
Exodus 13:21 shows that a pillar of cloud led them during the day and a pillar of fire led them during the night. Removing Moses from this equation of the Israelites life, one will be removing the glory of God among the Israelites. I am pleased to note that God has endowed His glory to His trusted men and women in Zimbabwe for the establishment of the Kingdom of God. I am thrilled to report that our own Father and Prophet Makandiwa of the United Family International Church is one of them. Glory to the name of the Lord!
Prophet Makandiwa’s ministry is replete with supernatural happenings — a clear sign of the glory of God.
Recently, in one of our church services, Prophet Makandiwa prayed for a certain woman who was pregnant and she immediately went into labour.
This woman had been giving birth to still babies, she had previously lost four babies and was getting ready to lose her fifth until the power of God prevailed in her situation. All hope had gone, the only ray of hope was seeking the face of the God of Prophet Makandiwa whom she had heard about. After prayer made for her by the man of God, she gave birth successfully but to a dead baby! The child was blue in colour, the umbilical cord was rotten, and the baby was lifeless. What an unusual sight for a newborn baby!
Like Prophet Elijah who called on his God for the rains to come down in Samaria, after three and a half years of drought, Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa called on the name of the living God and the baby had its first breath after twenty minutes of prayer. Demonstrably, the glory of God was real and is resident on His servant Prophet Makandiwa.
The desire of God today is to see all humanity giving their lives to Christ as their Lord and personal Savior so that He would come and make resident in them for His glory to be seen. Prophet Makandiwa is inviting all Zimbabweans to converge at the National Sports Stadium on April 6 2012 to come and witness the glory of God. To the children of God, the glory of God is coming to bless them and to the enemies of God it shall come as judgment.
Sickness, bareness, poverty and lack shall be judged by the glory of God. It’s an instruction coming from God through His anointed servant Prophet Makandiwa to all Zimbabweans who are God-conscious to come and witness the glory of God.
Prophet Makandiwa has a message from God for our nation in these last days, God has remembered Zimbabwe. I can see the cloud of the glory of God ready to burst with rain of blessings. Its revival time and the glory of God is risen upon our nation.
