The set time has come

As we end the month of June — the month I declared as a season of extraordinary faith and supernatural interventions — the Bible says: “You will arise and have mercy on Zion; for the time to favour her, yes, the set time has come.” — Psalm 102:13

Last week, we saw how one sentence from a king restored seven years of loss.

Divine timing aligned a conversation, positioned the Shunammite woman and released a decree that reversed everything she had lost.

This week, we go deeper, because restoration is not only about what was taken — it is about who stands up for you. There comes a moment when heaven shifts and when God Himself rises.

When the King steps in, everything changes.

We serve the King of kings.

The opening scripture declares: “the set time has come”.

Restoration is not accidental; it is appointed.

The Shunammite woman did not walk into luck — she walked into timing.

Joseph had a set time in prison before the palace opened.

David had a set time in the wilderness before the throne came.

For years it seemed as though nothing was moving, but when the set time arrived, everything shifted at once.

Your waiting season is not wasted; it is being scheduled by God.

There is a moment already determined — a day on God’s calendar — when favour must locate you.

And when that moment comes, no force on earth can postpone it.

The scripture begins by saying: “You will arise.”

This means there are moments when God moves from silence to action in your situation. When He arises, opposition cannot stand.

Systems that resisted you begin to bend.

Doors that were shut start to open.

In the days of Esther, a decree was issued for destruction, but when the king could not sleep and remembered Mordecai, everything turned overnight.

In the story of the Shunammite woman, the king did not deliberate, negotiate or delay; he simply spoke. Why? Because when authority rises, resistance collapses.

There are things that have stood against you for years, but they will not survive one moment of divine intervention.

What time could not fix, God can settle instantly.

The Bible says: “You will arise and have mercy.”

Restoration is not earned; it is released.

The woman did not recover her land because of her status or influence — she recovered it because mercy spoke.

Mercy overrides what you deserve and releases what you could never demand. Mercy opens doors you did not qualify for. Mercy causes people in power to act in your favour.

Restoration does not depend on perfection, effort or connections; it depends on the compassion of God.

When mercy begins to speak over your life, even kings will cooperate with your restoration.

What happened next reveals the mystery of divine restoration.

The king did not just restore her land; he commanded that all the proceeds from the field for seven years be given back to her.

God does not only return what you lost — He also restores what you would have gained if you had never lost it.

God does not simply replace; He compensates.

He does not just give you back time; He redeems it. In one moment, seven years were recovered.

This is how God works.

He can compress years into a single season, open one door that makes up for a decade of struggle or release one opportunity that carries the weight of many missed chances.

Do not measure your future by your past losses, because the God you serve specialises in accelerated restoration.

Notice something important: Even though God arranged everything, the woman still had to go to the king. She had to position herself. She had to show up.

Divine timing does not cancel human responsibility. Yes, God prepares the moment, but we must step into it. Position yourself in prayer. Position yourself in obedience. Position yourself in faith.

Position yourself with expectation. Because, when the set time comes, you must be present to receive what God has already prepared.

So, I declare over you today: Your set time has come.

The King is arising on your behalf.

Every delay is being broken. Every loss is being addressed.

Every stolen opportunity is being restored.

The same voice that spoke “Restore all” is speaking again and this time it is speaking over your life: “Restore their joy.

“Restore their peace. Restore their finances. Restore their purpose. Restore their inheritance.”

What was held back must be released.

What was lost must come back with increase.

When the King steps in, situations do not improve gradually — they change suddenly.

This week, walk like someone whose case is already being discussed in rooms you have not entered yet.

Walk like favour has your name on it. Walk like restoration is not a possibility but an inevitability.

Walk knowing that the King is not silent — He is about to speak.

And when He speaks, everything you thought was over will begin again and this time it will be greater.

Amen.
