The value of a good teacher

MOST of the things you know have been taught to you by someone else

Society is at its best when each person passes on their knowledge to the next person.

Outside formal education, each day is full of life lessons.

These are the lessons that have the capacity to positively mold society.

Society is nourished when important lessons are shared.

On the other side of the coin, a society that is starved of education has limited paths to growth.

The life that you are living should be book from which someone else is taking notes.

The person may never approach you directly, but will always draw lessons from the path that you are walking.

Life is a maze, and no one has the perfect answers.

No one can claim to have the best recipe or blueprint for life.

If anyone claims to know it all, then you know they are delusional.

It is therefore important to takes cues and draw valuable lessons from those around you.

Also play your part and be a good teacher.

Always be willing to share your opinion.

A well-thought-out opinion can make a huge difference in an open discussion.

Randomly thrown words without care can be tantamount to a fatal mistake.

On the other hand, a positive word of advice can be the pillar upon which youths can learn, and always make reference to.

You do not need to be an expert. Even expert opinions remain opinions, after all.

But your personal opinion can be the much-awaited breakthrough for the people around you.

To be a good teacher, you have to be free and open.

The brave ones will walk up to you to ask for tips and guidance.

You need to grow a big heart in anticipation of that one day when someone will walk up to you and ask what may a shallow question.

It will not hurt anyone to be patient and hear them out, and give informed advice.

When out of your depth do not hesitate to acknowledge that; let go of topics that are beyond you.

Poor advice is of no value.

You only get wiser when your ideas are put to test in real life.

Do not point anyone in a direction that you would not go yourself if you were in the other person’s situation.

Create a brand that favours the spreading of knowledge to those who lack knowledge.

Some people who have fail in life failed because they did not have a good teacher earlier in life.

Teaching does not always require a formal setup.

Make an effort to impart the knowledge that you have to someone else.

Everyone needs someone to hold their hand at some point.

Always remember that at some point you were a toddler in certain aspects of your life, and had to learn from someone.

Never take anything for granted.

As you go about your everyday business, remember that someone is learning from you.

What you may consider basic information may be news to the next person.

And if they do not hear it from you, they may never hear it again.

There are no limits to what people can learn from you.

A good teacher should not look at age; anyone can learn from anyone else.

It just requires open heart and a receiving mind.

The old person has a lot to learn from the young ones, while the young have a lot to catch up from the rich experience and exposure of the old.

Society thrives on tapping from the best sources of knowledge.

Serve society where and when it needs you most by being a good teacher.
