There is a set time for you

PSALMS 102:13: Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come.
The Psalmist says God will arise and favour Zion. He says the time to favour her has come. There is a time of favour. There is a time that God looks at you with favour. There is a time favour will be done.
There is a set time. God has His time set for certain things to happen. God is not haphazard. He is a God of perfect timing. He knows what to do and when.
It was in Ecclesiastes 3:1 that the writer said: “To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.”
He enumerates the times. There is a time to be born, and a time to die, a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what was planted. There is a time to break down, and a time to build up, a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance.
Things change. Times change. Things change with time. There is a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together, a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing, a time to get, and a time to lose, a time to keep, and a time to cast away. Know your season.
There is a time to rend, and a time to sow, a time to keep silence, and a time to speak.
A time to love, and a time to hate. Know when to leave and when to stay. There is a time of war, and a time of peace.
There is time for everything. There was a time for bondage of Israel in Egypt. Then there was a time for the first-born children of Egypt to die. There was a time of bondage and a time for the exodus.
When the time came, God sent Moses. There is a time to be sick and there is time to be healed.
There was a time for Sarah to be barren, then there was time for God to visit her at an appointed time.
In Genesis 18:14, we read: “Is anything too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed, I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.”
God was going to come to Sarah and make her have a child, at a set time. When the time came, she received Isaac.
Seasons come and go. Each season brings new fortunes. Some trees bear fruit in their seasons, while others do so in their own seasons. Even on the same tree, fruits ripen at different times.
Your time is coming. Others may prosper now, and you wonder if you will also prosper.
Others get their blessings now, while yours is on its way. The man at the pool of Bethesda, was in his condition for 38 years. We do not know how long he was at the pool. We are told he was just a long time in his case. Others had friends and relatives who helped them into the water when the Angel stirred the water. They would get healed and bid the hapless man farewell. They left him there. For a long time, other sick people came and went after their healing. He saw many healings but he did not experience any.
His time was set. He experienced a peculiar miracle. It was peculiar to him. Others were healed by water, He was healed by a strange Man. A Man come to him. He was asked an unusual question: “Would you want to be healed?”
The man was surprised at the question, he did not give a direct answer.
He said he had no one to help him into the water. His healing was unusual.
The delay you have suffered, comes with a miracle healing. The more the delay, the more the special miracle you will experience.
Hannah’s time came and she had a prophet. Elizabeth’s time came with a prophet called John.
Your time is set. God has a set time for you. Your time is appointed. In His time, He makes all things beautiful. Wait for it. A greater miracle is coming.
