Thief caught after stealing from the same house twice

A 22-YEAR-OLD old man from Magama Village, Masvingo has been cuffed after stealing from the same house twice in the same month.
In November 2024, Phillip Mupinda stole two bags of maize from a house in Mashonga village and went away unnoticed.
Mupinda struck again the same month, stealing a black satchel, maroon blanket, and a cellphone.
In an official statement on X, the said National Prosecuting Authority of Zimbabwe, “He was arrested by police detectives and led to the recovery of the stolen property, following a tip-off.”
“Members of the public are urged to secure their property during the festive season as cases of unlawful entry tend to rise during the period,” read the statement.
