SCENIC fireworks display and the classic Nativity play will be part of the entertainment at an event to switch on Christmas Lights at the Bulawayo Amphitheatre at the central and centenary park’s amphitheatre in the city tomorrow.

The city’s residents have been invited by the City of Bulawayo to experience the event that will mark the start of Christmas. From Wednesday as well, kids will have something to cheer about as jumping castles and inflatables will be erected at the central park up to January 1.

The switching on of the lights will start at 5:30PM with the annual spectacle, certainly one not to be missed. The sudden flood of light that comes with the switching on turns the scenic park into a picturesque sight that should be part of every resident’s Christmas memory. At the weekend, the Christmas lights at Nketa Park were switched on followed by festivities that were held over two days.
