Backed by the Third Generation Band, Jah Prayzah now commands a huge fan base following the release of his album “Tsviriyo”. To some, he is the man to watch out for this year and besides appealing to the mature, his music now relates to the youths.
The lanky singer is doing well with his latest hit album “Tsviriyo” which features a number of talented musicians including superstar Oliver Mtukudzi on the song “Sisiriya”.
Over and above this, Jah Prayzah has become one of the most sought-after performers. Since he will be sharing the stage with the Charambas he is expected to generate a lot of heat when he takes to the stage clad in his trademark army fatigues.
To spice up the line-up will be Mhere who critics described as a gospel star-in-waiting.
Mhere announced his arrival with the release of his album titled “Favour”. Some likened his voice to that of Blessing Shumba but he maintains that he is his own man. So far it has been well and good for the youngster who is angling for dizzy heights for as long as he remains level-headed.
Backed by a revamped Fishers of Men, the Charambas are a joy to watch and their chemistry on and off the stage is amazing. Their melodious voices and highly charged performances await gospel music lovers come Sunday.
Show promoter Partson Chimbodza of Chipaz Promotions urged fans to come in their number and enjoy the mixed bag of music.
“The show comes a day after the Africa Day and we want music lovers to celebration being African. It is going to be great day of fun and music,” he said.
