Tivafire launches 10th album

PRAISE and worship singer, Joseph Tivafire, is set to launch his 10th album titled Kudzwai Mambo.

The album is expected to be launched on April 1 at the Anglican Cathedral in the capital.

The album carries nine tracks namely Shanda, Yehovha Wanga, Rudo, Shingirira, Pamusoro Pakudenga, Mazuva atokwana, Huya Mweya, Humble Yourself and the title track Kudzwai Mambo.

In an interview with H-Metro, Tivafire said he is confident the album will take him to another level.

“In the song Shanda. I am encouraging people to work hard so that they can realise their goals and avoid using black magic.

“The song Rudo talks about God’s love and we are even reminded of the biblical message which says love your neighbour as you love yourself.

“The title track Kudzwai Mambo is a praise and worship song.

“On this song I am just appreciating God’s love and thanking him for the gift of life.” 

He said financial constraints were hindering his progress.

“Due to financial difficulties, some of the things we can’t do but I believe this time my new offering will certainly unlock the doors for me.

“We require instruments, uniforms and a PA system so that we can do our work properly.

“For us to be able to come up with a new album there is a fee involved for the studio time,” he said.

The album was recorded by Lyton Ngolomi of Lyton Studios and Union Sounds Studios.

His previous albums are Mushandiri Washe, Vavariro Yangu, Mutsvene, Zvakazarurwa and Mwana Wehumambo.

Mbiri Kumusiki, Tirivashe, Revival and Nditarire Nokufara complete his offerings.
