EIGHTY-eight students, under the Cambridge Assessment International Education, received awards last week.
Parents and guardians turned into photographers capturing the 10 students for obtaining highest marks in the world and 78 for Top in Zimbabwe.
In his congratulating speech, Cabridge Assessment International Education regional director Sub-Saharan Africa, Juan Visser, said their programmes and qualifications help students reach their potential and instils a lifelong love of learning and passion for discovery.
“We are delighted to congratulate learners from Zimbabwe on their academic achievements in the June and November 2022 Cambridge examination series,” said Juan.
“The Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards recognise the exceptional performance of learners around the world in Cambridge examinations.
“The awards reflect the talent and hard work of learners, and acknowledge the dedication and commitment of both teachers and parents.
“I am delighted to celebrate the outstanding achievements of 10 students from seven schools who obtained the highest marks in the world, a really outstanding performance.
“I would also like to congratulate 78 students who received the ‘Top in Zimbabwe’ award, a much-deserved recognition for their very hard work.
“All these awards demonstrate the high standard of education in our schools,” said Juan.
Among the students Simone Tadiwanashe Kamupinya of British Council School received six awards in Physics, Accounting, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science and Business Studies.
