Toronto FC seek to maintain winning ways

SOUTHERN Region Division Two outfit, Toronto FC seeks to maintain its winning streak when it clashes with ZRP Bulawayo province at the weekend. Toronto is third on the log table and coach Ghetto Nkala said his team would be pressing for a win to remain within reach of the leaders. Only three points separate Toronto and log leaders Talen Vision who are on 21 points after 10 games.

“After last week’s 2-1 victory over Zimplow, the boys are fired up and motivated to go for another win in our next match. We’re going into this game with the same mindset that has worked well for us in our past fixtures. ZRP Bulawayo is ahead of us but they’re not an unfamiliar opponent and we look forward to beating them,” said Nkala.

ZRP Bulawayo is second on the log with 20 points and Nkala said Toronto was aware they would not be a pushover as they’re famed for their strong power play, but he would ensure his boys don’t allow them to settle.

“They’ve an impressive power play and we’ve to thwart their forward forays. Our plan is to play our game and be the ones dictating the pace,” said Nkala.
