Tragedy strikes as Casmyn FC’s Trust Munenge dies after training

THE Zifa Southern Region Division One league has been plunged into mourning following the death of Casmyn FC player Trust Munenge, who tragically collapsed and died on Tuesday.

Munenge, who was 26 years old, is believed to have collapsed shortly after a training session.
The Zifa Southern Region executive has confirmed the player’s passing.

“The Southern Region League executive extends its heartfelt condolences to Casmyn FC, and to the family and friends of Trust Munenge following his tragic passing,” the Zifa Southern Region said in a statement.
